When really does a man wants?

Boy works down the road from girl’s office. Boy has a deep crush on girl. He finds a way to get introduced to her.

Girl seems not to be keen on boy. Boy tries to go out on a date with her. Girl turns him down several times.

After much ado, girl tells boy that she can’t be seen with him. He has no car, doesn’t earn a good pay and doesn’t seem to have a bright future.

Boy still tries to get girls attention. Girl does not budge.

Like a lion waiting on its prey, boy decides to make girl his project. He gets to know what her schedule is like, and through her colleagues, gets to understand what catches her fancy.

He has made friends with a guy who drives uber. He can get a ride on and off for free. He sends girl text message for 3 days telling her that she can hitch a ride with him when she’s ready to go home. By day 4, she takes the bait.

This goes on, on and off for 3 months. She finally agrees to meet with him at his friend’s place. She thinks the luxurious apartment is his. She becomes super nice.
Boy begins to withdraw his attention. Girl goes overboard trying to win his love and attention. She however won’t give in to his sexual advances.

Several months go by, the relationship seems to be moving forward gradually. Girl decides it’s time to give in. Boy feigns disinterest and takes a rain check.
Boy picks the date for the “show” and takes girl to an “all you can eat” buffet. Girl eats and drinks to her hearts content. She professes love.

Girl wakes up in hotel room the next day. Her recollection of the night is hazy. Boy is nowhere to be found. She calls out. No answer. She tries to reach his phone. Its switched off! She dresses up and makes her way out of the room. On her way she receives a debit alert! A fear has started creeping into her mind. She looks at the alert. The narration shows that her ATM card was used to pay for the room.

In fury, she goes to boy’s luxury apartment. No one seems to know him by the name she calls. She is really getting upset. She waits for Monday morning. She needs to blast him and give him a piece of her mind!

Monday comes. She asks after him at his office. They look confused. They tell her that he resigned a month ago. Was she not at his send-forth party on Sunday? They ask. Send forth to where? She asks. To Canada of course, they tell her. Girl faints.

Moral of the story:

  1. Not everything that glitters is gold.
  2. A soft answer turns away wrath.
  3. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but watches out for a man that knows the woman is in it, just for Benjamins.

Hilda’s Shoulder is a place where we virtually hold hands like - real friends should. If you want to come anonymously...we understand ..still come! Hilda’s shoulder is here for you!
